Imagine your wedding ceremony in the great outdoors, fiancé by your side, surrounded by family and friends in picturesque Kiwi Cove, a ten-acre waterfront property situated at the head of Ladysmith Harbour. Shaded woodlands, breezy meadows and a real kiwi vineyard provide a tranquil setting for you to exchange your marriage vows. Eagles fly high overhead while sea, sky and the gentle peaks of Vancouver Island create a quietly stunning backdrop for the entire event.

For your family wedding the spacious 12-room Kiwi Cove Lodge comfortably accommodates in rooms that are casually elegant. In addition, there’s the 3-bedroom Kiwi Cottage, great for families with kids.

In the morning, gather together for a full breakfast featuring made-from-scratch baking, homemade yogurt and kiwi preserves, fresh-from-the-garden fruits and veggies, as well as heartier fare. Evening meals are also a delight and can be booked in advance.


Before and after the wedding, have fun outdoors! Take time to explore Kiwi Cove: stroll atop the dykes where land meets sea, meander through the remains of an old apple orchard, unwind in the hot-tub or spend an evening snuggled around a crackling blaze at the outdoor fire pit. Kiwi Cove provides many opportunities to socialize and relax.

CEREMONY

Whole Lodge booking is required for 2 nights and there is no additional charge for your outdoor ceremony .We provide white wooden chairs, arbour, table for signing the registry, parking, indoor washrooms, drinking water and punch presentation after the ceremony, and power cord if required.

RECEPTION

The reception is held off premise in the location of your choosing. If you prefer a hands-on preparation of your celebration, we can help with referrals for renting local halls. The Cottonwood golf course is very nearby and is an attractive choice for a fully serviced reception. 250 245 5157

FIRST DEPOSIT
An initial deposit of $400.00 is required to secure all 12 guest rooms on your dates. This represents 10% of 2 day whole lodge stay with breakfast. This sum does not include additional meals, additional person charges. If you wish to reserve the Kiwi cottage a deposit of $200.00 is required.

SECOND DEPOSIT
90 days prior to the event, a second deposit of $1,458.85 is due calculated on
Balance payment is due before your departure on the wedding weekend.

BALANCE PAYMENT:
$1,858.85 depending on additional charges or guest contribution for accommodation.
